Gaddafi’s Libya that offered all of Africa its first revolution in
modern times – connecting the entire continent by telephone,
television, radio broadcasting and several other technological
applications such as telemedicine and distance teaching. And thanks to
the WMAX radio bridge, a low cost connection was made available across
the continent, including in rural areas.
It began in
1992, when 45 African nations established RASCOM (Regional African
Satellite Communication Organization) so that Africa would have its own
satellite and slash communication costs in the continent. This was a
time when phone calls to and from Africa were the most expensive in the
world because of the annual US$500 million fee pocketed by Europe for
the use of its satellites like Intelsat for phone conversations,
including those within the same country.
An African
satellite only cost a onetime payment of US$400 million and the
continent no longer had to pay a US$500 million annual lease. Which
banker wouldn’t finance such a project? But the problem remained – how
can slaves, seeking to free themselves from their master’s exploitation
ask the master’s help to achieve that freedom? Not surprisingly, the
World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, the USA, Europe only made
vague promises for 14 years. Gaddafi put an end to these futile pleas
to the western ‘benefactors’ with their exorbitant interest rates. The
Libyan guide put US$300 million on the table; the African Development
Bank added US$50 million more and the West African Development Bank a
further US$27 million – and that’s how Africa got its first
communications satellite on 26 December 2007.
China and
Russia followed suit and shared their technology and helped launch
satellites for South Africa, Nigeria, Angola, Algeria and a second
African satellite was launched in July 2010. The first totally
indigenously built satellite and manufactured on African soil, in
Algeria, is set for 2020. This satellite is aimed at competing with the
best in the world, but at ten times less the cost, a real challenge.
This is how
a symbolic gesture of a mere US$300 million changed the life of an
entire continent. Gaddafi’s Libya cost the West, not just depriving it
of US$500 million per year but the billions of dollars in debt and
interest that the initial loan would generate for years to come and in
an exponential manner, thereby helping maintain an occult system in
order to plunder the continent.

From The Final Call, Vol. 15, No.6, On January 17, 1996
On June 4,
1963, a little known attempt was made to strip the Federal Reserve Bank
of its power to loan money to the government at interest. On that day
President John F. Kennedy signed Executive Order No. 11110 that
returned to the U.S. government the power to issue currency, without
going through the Federal Reserve. Mr. Kennedy's order gave the
Treasury the power "to issue silver certificates against any silver
bullion, silver, or standard silver dollars in the Treasury." This
meant that for every ounce of silver in the U.S. Treasury's vault, the
government could introduce new money into circulation. In all, Kennedy
brought nearly $4.3 billion in U.S. notes into circulation. The
ramifications of this bill are enormous.
With the
stroke of a pen, Mr. Kennedy was on his way to putting the Federal
Reserve Bank of New York out of business. If enough of these silver
certificats were to come into circulation they would have eliminated
the demand for Federal Reserve notes. This is because the silver
certificates are backed by silver and the Federal Reserve notes are not
backed by anything. Executive Order 11110 could have prevented the
national debt from reaching its current level, because it would have
given the gevernment the ability to repay its debt without going to the
Federal Reserve and being charged interest in order to create the new
money. Executive Order 11110 gave the U.S. the ability to create its
own money backed by silver.
After Mr.
Kennedy was assassinated just five months later, no more silver
certificates were issued. The Final Call has learned that the Executive
Order was never repealed by any U.S. President through an Executive
Order and is still valid. Why then has no president utilized it?
Virtually all of the nearly $6 trillion in debt has been created since
1963, and if a U.S. president had utilized Executive Order 11110 the
debt would be nowhere near the current level. Perhaps the assassination
of JFK was a warning to future presidents who would think to eliminate
the U.S. debt by eliminating the Federal Reserve's control over the
creation of money. Mr. Kennedy challenged the government of money by
challenging the two most successful vehicles that have ever been used
to drive up debt - war and the creation of money by a privately-owned
central bank. His efforts to have all troops out of Vietnam by 1965 and
Executive Order 11110 would have severely cut into the profits and
control of the New York banking establishment. As America's debt
reaches unbearable levels and a conflict emerges in Bosnia that will
further increase America's debt, one is force to ask, will President
Clinton have the courage to consider utilizing Executive Order 11110
and, ifso, is he willing to pay the ultimate price for doing so?

the Americans' single unqualified success. Turn on any news in the US
and Britain, and the embedded reporter standing inside an American (or
British) fortress will repeat unsubstantiated claims about al-Zarqawi.
Of the eight
comprehensive studies into the number of Iraqi civilians killed by the
"coalition", four put the figure at more than 100,000. Until the
British army is withdrawn from where it has no right to be, and those
responsible for this monumental act of terrorism are indicted by the
International Criminal Court, this country is stained.

in the occupied city of Basra in southern Iraq. A group of them was
caught yesterday by Iraqi police. They were driving an Iraqi car,

have been huge grave sites and satellite evidence of both executions,
burials, and any body removals. But the body searches in the Srebrenica
vicinity were painfully disappointing, with only some two thousand
bodies found in searches through 1999, including bodies killed in
action and possibly Serb bodies, some pre-dating July 1995.
It is also
noteworthy how many relatively impartial observers in or near
Srebrenica in July 1995 didn't see any evidence of massacres, including
the members of the Dutch forces present in the "safe area" and people

EVIDENCE IS now in that President Barack Obama grossly exaggerated the
humanitarian threat to justify military action in Libya. The president
claimed that intervention was necessary to prevent a “bloodbath’’ in
Benghazi, Libya’s second-largest city and last rebel stronghold.
But Human
Rights Watch has released data on Misurata, the next-biggest city in
Libya and scene of protracted fighting, revealing that Moammar Khadafy
is not deliberately massacring civilians but rather narrowly targeting
the armed rebels who fight against his government.
Misurata’s
population is roughly 400,000. In nearly two months of war, only 257
people — including combatants — have died there. Of the 949 wounded,
only 22 — less than 3 percent — are women. If Khadafy were
indiscriminately targeting civilians, women would comprise about half
the casualties.
Libya’s air
force, prior to imposition of a UN-authorized no-fly zone, targeted
rebel positions, not civilian concentrations. Despite ubiquitous
cellphones equipped with cameras and video, there is no graphic
evidence of deliberate massacre. Images abound of victims killed or
wounded in crossfire — each one a tragedy — but that is urban warfare,
not genocide.

Over-application of slow- or fast-release fertilizer kills plants by
effectively "burning" them. It happens when the plant is absorbing an
abundance of soluble salts. The salts cause the roots to shrivel up and
slow absorption of water. The roots become susceptible to disease.
Since the plant isn't hydrated, it burns. Some signs of
over-fertilization are an excessive amount of leaves or foliage but few
flowers. Leaves will also show yellow around the tips.

Over-fertilized plants can be saved. You'll basically have to "flush"
the extra fertilizer out of the plant system by slowly draining the
soil with lots of water. Cut off the burned or damaged leaves since
they can't be revived. You'll then have to replant the pot with fresh
soil and fertilizer high in nitrogen.
